do you hate deviantart?

how many of you people hate deviantart? i'am just curious thats all

I actually kind of enjoy it, except for the constant UBER sparkle dogs.
Now, I have nothing against sparkle dogs, I think they're fine if that's the kind of thing you like, but when people go all out INSANE with them...er...it kinda gets on my nerves. But I won't go flaming anyone!

Mostly the wolves that are neon green and purple and every color of the rainbow all at once with Scene style hair and a million accessories is the kind of thing that...gets after me. xD

whats sparkle dogs? and too i disagree about loving deviantart, deviantart is incapable of running or managing a art site when they cant even write the correct fair rules for the art site and two they dont even give you a second chance on whatever you dont something wrong or not?? i mean the f**k? :/

Sparkledogs are brightly coloured dogs, usually in blinding clashing colours that make no sense. Live and let live though, people can draw what they want.

I for one like Deviantart aside from all the lagging advertisements. They do have a lot of fair rules, and it is easy to find them if you look. You're talking about second chances so I assume you were banned from DA? I've been a user on DA for around 6 years now and I've always found my experiences very enjoyable and I've made so many friends there. xD <3

well good for yeah but i'am now working on getting a ban appeal from deviantart and if they reacitivate my account then thatll be a relief and if not then i'll just take them down to court booky when ive the money of coarse but still deviantart is not that fun at all not like artgrounds they have an awesome sketcher chatroom its amazing!

Wait. You're claiming that you will take DeviantArt to court, if they do not re-activate your account? Huh. Interesting.

I agree with Booky. I've been to dA over 7 years and it taught me a lot, tho I left it like a year back, to have a break from it and start to appreciate some silly feedback as dA has.
Now I'm back and tho I still rage at geting 100 faves and only 1 comment (classy ¦D ), I'm glad that I returned and I can have sum talk with my friends from there again <:

But overally, dA is getting on my nerves with it's jewish-ness and trying to make money from everything. They still owe me one subscription money, but they don't want to talk about it, they said that the money has been send... uh ohwell.

Do I hate DA? No, not really. Besides the finicky sever and the pretentiousness of portions of the site, it's a good site for feedback (although, not necessarily commentary feedback.) I like the community and submissions are easy to make.
And reactivating your account? Well, unless you were hacked, then deactivating your account was YOUR fault, not the DA staff's. You can try to contact them, but the issue seems.. a little petty.

I dislike DA. No one really post helpful comments on my art work at least xD. I hate how the most popular pictures are really the nude chicks. Honestly if i wanted to see porno I would go to a porno site, not a art site and some how the mature filter does not work because people get away with posting the nudes without making it a mature picture. Yay for another shitty site.

I very much dislike DA, ever since they changed the layout in 08'. I had been on there for many a years and deactivated my account early last year due to the lack of integrity.
I agree with Fishy- If I wanted to see porn or yiff, I would go to a porn or yiff site. I got tired of typing, well- anything, in the browse section and the whole page filling up with nude chicks(not tasteful either), or nude chicks with ears and tails. I'm sorry, that just bugs me to death.
Not to mention that there are many a wonderful artist on that site, that never make it to the popular page! All because they don't draw naked chicks, anthros, sparkle dogs/animal, or fanart. It's crazy. I have now converged to the SA site and here, much nicer.

Well, i like it for several reasons. First off its so easy to follow my favorite artists, and its also easy to find new artists to follow. Also, I've always liked the design. And the groups option is also really cool. I think the reason I like it the most is that it is such a large community, probably the biggest online artist community.
But sometimes its frustrating when crappy stuff gets on the first page, and I follow so many deviants who can draw MUCH better. Most super popular fan artists annoy me, especially when their art is crappy. They don't annoy me because of the quality of their art, its because they are popular just because they draw a certain series a lot. It's like they are leeching off the fame of the series.
So thats the end of my rant. Take it as you will, lol.
I love it, I hate it, but I think i like it overall.

alicejenkins, with typing like that, dA and the "court" will think you're a joke. If you messed up and got banned, that is nobody's fault but your own. You cannot take dA to court because they won't unban you. If you think you can, well, I'd like to hear your logic behind it because right now it seems dumb as rocks.

DeviantArt is okay in my opinion. The things I like is the interface, comments and great amount of impressive art. But flash adds and DailyDeviation nude chick spam are quite annoying.

If you managed to get banned on deviant, make sure you don't bring your bad behavior to this website and end up banned again. Learn from misstakes.
