im having trouble with uploading its working, but after a few minuets the picture dissapears from my gallery. is anyone else having the same problem or is it my computer or.. D: please help :)

If you're uploading screenshots of advertisements or something you googled (i.e. something YOU didn't make), the administration is most likely deleting it. If it's something you created, it might be a glitch in the site. What is it exactly that you are uploading?

screenshots, but they're of my own artwork being worked on in photoshop. i also tried a normal picture of mine and it deleted D: -dies-

it did that to me too on drawings i did in the sketcher, twice.. D'B

That's most likely the admins deleting things they don't consider good enough for the gallery. Some of our admins are trying to keep the quality high. My opinion about this is... torn, because I sympathize with wanting higher quality, but it seems a bit cruel to just delete it like that...

My animation was delelted too? it was a WIP, and i wanted critiques on it, before i finished it

Uploads are disappearing because AG is becoming a perfectionist. We must be amazing artists or our art shall be deleted. Cruel, is it not?

why not just make a favorite base gallery? And take out the gallery that show new works of art. It would cut out most ppl trying to advertise and show quality art at the same time. Im surprise some my art has not been deleted(witch i hope don't get deleted now that i said some thing). I can see why you want to have quality artwork. But you have to take the good artist with the bad artist. Just because you don't think it is good dose not mean every one else thinks the same way.

So... the way it's sounding is our art has to be perfect or it's gonna get deleted?

Which filetype are you uploading? its gotta be PNG or JPEG or it dissapears. I had that problem b4. thats probly the reason because your art doesnt go through an approval list, they wont delete it right away. artgrounds doesnt know what your uploading untill someone looks at it :] try a diff. filetype
