What I want to know is, can mac users easily go on sketcher? It's prob a silly question but one I was wondering..hate to get a mac to find out I can't go on sketcher ;0;! | QUOTH THE RAVEN 'NEVERMORE' |

It's prob a silly question but one I was wondering..hate to get a mac to find out I can't go on sketcher ;0;! I do not know. I have not tested Sketcher on a Mac, however, since Java is supposed to be platform independent it /should/ work.
I think the bigger question you need to ask yourself is why you would want to downgrade to a Mac? Is it because your liberal college professors say you need it for their class, or does a PC have too much functionality and features for you and you feel the need to limit yourself? blackraven066 Joined on: 26 Sep 2005 23:45 | Re: Just a general question for mac users | haha I just need a new laptop cause the one I have is on it's way out and can't handle my course. Was asking around the ppl on my course and they all said to get a mac. So I've been looking into it. Can you recommend any good pc makes that I could have a look at as well? | QUOTH THE RAVEN 'NEVERMORE' |

Can you recommend any good pc makes that I could have a look at as well? Personally, I like Dells. If you find a good Dell laptop, you're set. I find them very easy to manage.
Although one of my best friends loves compaqs. She's had hers for about 10 years and he still runs like a charm. Too bad everything else Compaq makes is terrible. I managed to literally melt the motherboard on my Compaq. Asus, Toshiba, Gateway, Dell. Those are fairly cheap and get the job done.
Don't listen about Macs, People brag about them; "There's no viruses for Macs!" - Because no one gives a horses patoot to make a virus for a Mac. XD, but all in all, PCs are better.
If you want a crazy beefy Laptop; get a Dell XPS. Alai Joined on: 8 Mar 2007 23:54 | Re: Just a general question for mac users | | I have a MacBook and sketcher is very easy to use on it. I personally like it better than on the PC. I've had it for about two years and it has never given me any problems. |
