Not necessarily. There are actually people on this site who don't know what DA was when they came here. Most people get the address from someone else (very few of our visits are from search engines and direct links).

I personally wandered off into this place from google, surprising enough. Was searching for a paintchat place.

I actually saw this site from a journal on dA. xD I feel normal. :D Hi.

dA is just ragingly popular, which is kind of annoying, because all of the professional artists create massive shadows over amatuer artists, and they're never really noticed.. D: That's why I like joining other places in hopes to get noticed better with a fighting change >_>

i got here from DA too...someone had art posted and said they did it here in paintchat..so i was all Ooooo....i wanna see so lol i'm here about as much as i am there...

I was introduced here by a friend whom I met on Niko's Paintchat. He was telling me this place was better and eaiser 'cause it has four layers instead of two. xD I actually do like this place better than regular paintchat.

I actually got referred here by some dude on one of the many forums I sign up for then end up never visiting again...I think it was Mediaminer or something... But yeah. Apparently, he said yall gave good C&C so I hopped on over XD

Ummm, let's see. I THINK I found my way here through DA (which I never really warmed up to all that much) through a pic made in Sketcher. Then again, I could have been directed here from anywhere, seeing as how much I surf the web. If there's an art site, I've probably been there before (except Sheezy because I only hear bad things about it).

My friend told me this place was better than DA because on DA, all they care about are the big artists.

I got the site link of this off of someone who had it in their links on Livejournal, actually xD

Actually I found this place with a chain of events: Haunting random person on DA, finding enterVOID.com... haunting the forums there.... and BAAM, I'm here. ^.^

I heard someone say "artgrounds.com" on the bus home from the bookstore. And this is where I ended up at.

Let say that I've got in here by serching a paintchat, thant ended up on dA forums, that ended on someone mentioning ArtGrounds :O

well let's see... don't remember how i joined da but i friend dragged me to sheezy art and the next thing i know black cat drags me here ^^ i have such nice friends...

I met Merc then met Rattles then RPD and Chazzie and all them and now I'm here :B But I met Merc BEFORE I had dA! o:

I wandered over here from dA since a friend of mine said the sketcher was really cool, but I like this place because its slower, and quieter then dA. Its like a small town and dA is a big booming city, and I like small towns XD Either way though I'm on dA and here equally. I'm hoping to get some comments and critique on my art.

I come from DA too, but I found AG by looking for some sketching online chat room. Like an oekeki (sorry if that's spelt incorrectly). I found Sketcher, tried it and loved it.

Well, I'm from TLKFAA. When I was at Sketcher someone said "Is anyone at DA, AG or SA?" So I asked "DA? AG? SA? What's thaaat?" Then that artist explained me "They are art pages, just like TLKFAA".. So, I started looking at all them and now I'm on all them..XD I have a DA, SA, TLKFAA, AG and FA account!!!!XD LOL... Oh, I forgot this "Hi all"..:P Byez.
