Before I post chapter one of Ready to Rebel... I'd like to say that this is my first story I've ever written, and I'm horribly nervous on what you all will think. Please have mercy on a nervous Majalo. D:
For this story to make sense, Imma post the summary first, then the chapter.
___________________________________________________________ -SUMMARY- The story is about a little girl, five years old, who is bitten by the head were-leader Andung. Who has 'big plans' for the child. After a 'mysterious' car crash, that kills her parents a few months later, she is sent to live with her Aunt (Who isn't the nicest person in the world). A year passes, and she wakes up one day...with furry wolf ears and a tail, claws...fangs...the works. Her Aunt freaks out, and throws her out into the streets.
As it is illegal to house any were-creature. The government thinks as soon as you're bitten, you're evil. Thanks to Andung and his brainwashed minions terrorizing small towns.
Soon the girl grows to realize that the few un-evil/un-brainwashed weres need to get together and take down Andung and his followers before the were-lord can strike down the human race and rebuild the world as his own. And... To also prove to the humans that there ARE good were-beings.
By the way. In this story, it takes a while for one to get their were-powers. Also, the girl has more than three forms to morph into. That’s why she's so 'special' to Andung. Were-creatures in this story have complete control over themselves unless they're brainwashed. Were-creatures also have three forms to change into Human (that includes tails and ears), Feral (like you'd see in real life), and Were (aka, werewolves, werecats..kangaroos.. all sorts. Why I refer to them as 'were-beings' instead of just werewolves.) ___________________________________________________________
Ready to Rebel?
Chapter 1
“Momma! Momma! Wait up, I’m not that fast!” a little girl, about five ran after her mother down the busy street, dodging, ducking and weaving through the many people that cluttered the sidewalk. “Come on now, Zita! You need to pick up the pace now, we’re going to be late for the party!” the child, Zita, ran a bit faster trying to catch up.
That’s, me. Well, that WAS me. We had been going to a party. For my best friend Jeremy. We….we… didn’t get there in time. Something horrible happened.
‘WAH!’ Zita tripped and fell forward scraping the palms of her hands and knees. She knew better than to cry over something so stupid. ‘Great. Now I’m all dirty.’ Zita thought, brushing off her baggy light purple shirt and long blue jeans that almost covered her tennis shoes.
CLANK!
Startled, she looked into the dark alleyway. It was about noon and a bit cloudy, it might rain. That didn’t explain why it was so dark in there, though.
“Hey... kid.”
‘Huh?’ She took a step forward.
“Me?” Zita walked into the alley. “Who’s there?” bright green eyes watched as the child ventured further in.
….”Yeah you. I’ve got big plans in store for you….’
She turned, trying to find the source of the voice. A large werewolf, with dark brown fur, with gold-tan markings, with what looked like red tribal markings stood in her path. She knew better, that was the were-lord...
Zita turned and ran, meeting a dead end. His green/yellow eyes followed her, amused. He had planned this, and she walked right into his trap.
My first mistake, walking into that alleyway. Where was that advice my mother told me when I needed it the most? ‘Never talk to strangers’ she said. Why didn’t I listen to her? I’d heard of him, Andung. He’s the one that put me in this mess.
‘AAHHHHHH!’ the child screamed the monstrous creature bit down on her arm. Hard. With that, he smirked. Then ran off before any of the other humans saw him.
The child saw his large form fade away, her vision fuzzy. She felt weird, really... weird. Her vision was fading, though she heard the footsteps all too clear.
…. “Zita?....”
Darker... everything...so...dark and...hazy. Drip... Drip... Oh man, now its raining.
“ZITA!”
Her vision faded, leaving her unconscious.
Now that I think about it… I never did get to that party….. ___________________________________________________________
For those curious on what Zita and Andung look like (After Zita gets bitten and changes into the normal feral form, I can't draw humans for beans.)

It was only a short time after that, on a really cold, dark, rainy night… I was left with the babysitter, Amber, her name was. They, my parents.. were going out for dinner… well.. I never knew they weren’t coming back.
“You be good now, Zita. Alright?” her mother said, standing beside her father near the door. “Uh huh. I will.” Zita replied, clinging onto the small stuffed purple wolf she’d won at the fair a month before. It was strange, her sudden interest in all things that had to do with wolves. “Bye Zita! We’ll be back soon” her parents smiled, walking out the door with an umbrella in hand. “Buh-bye!”
I wish I would have known, I would’ve never let them go.
CRASH!
BANG!
SCREEEECH!
..... .............
“Excuse me? Miss? I’m afraid I have some bad news.” The officer at the door looked absolutely sorry when Amber opened the door. “What’s the matter?” she replied, he looked at Zita… “Are you her older sibling?” he pointed, at the girl who was sitting on the couch. “..No I’m just her baby sitter while the Mr. and Ms. Are out.”
“Well...Her parents… aren’t coming home. They were in a car crash. They're...dead” He looked at Zita, who had overheard the whole thing. She had tears in her eyes and was trying so hard not to cry.
“They’re….gone?”
That’s when it started, that’s when everything went down hill. I was sent to live with Aunt Ruth a year later. More like ruthless. I slept in the cluttered attic on an old sofa for most of my time there. Didn’t get to eat much either. She made me do chores that any other child couldn’t do… I’m sorta glad she did. I wouldn’t have had the muscle to survive when... it happened.
“ZITA!” Aunt Ruth bellowed, said child scrambled down the stars and to her Aunt in the kitchen. “Yes Aunt Ruth?” she squeaked, standing as stiff as a board in the baggy green shirt and brown pants. “Get some firewood, its getting colder. You can scrub the floors after that.”
Zita ran outside, it was mid-autumn, and even though everything around her was beautiful.. Zita never really got to enjoy it. She grabbed the logs and piled them up in her arms before running back and fetching more for Aunt Ruth. Then grabbed some water and a mop, she started to clean the wood floors. ‘Why does she do this to me? It was never this way with Mom and Dad, we’d do it together!’ Zita thought, while throwing the dirty water outside.
The sun was slowly setting in the distance, the tall pine trees and fields surrounding the country home made her nervous. I mean… what kind of were-creatures could live in that place? Unlike the town she lived in where there were many people, paved roads and bustling streets, Aunt Ruth lived in the middle of no where with gravel roads and barely a neighbor in sight, and on top of that, Zita had heard most attacks on people were in places where little to no people lived. Besides of Andung, he didn't care... he went into cities.. at least.. they thought it was him.
‘I remember that big werewolf that bit me, the were-lord” she thought, rubbing the spot on her arm where a strange mark now was. Shaped like a pawprint, though it was a light blue… and sorta…glowed. ‘I hope I don’t turn into one of those. They say as soon as your bitten, you’re evil…..I’m not evil…..am I?’
