Sometimes when I don't feel like drawing, I watch too. It's how you learn to improve to watch from others better than you. Just be sure to let people know that you're not just sitting idle and taking up precious sketcher seat room and you should be fine. It might also help to ask someone for a step-by-step explanation of how they go about drawing (if they don't mind taking the time to impart the information, that is). | ... o.o;; |

also, if people are watching me drawing, they can often point of stuff that i can fix :D Adromaw Joined on: 18 Apr 2007 13:17 | Re: is it wrong to just watch others draw on sketcher | It's best to do that when the availability of user slots are reasonable, but when things get tight and people would like to join and draw; it would be kind to consider giving up the spot unless you seriously wish to draw. I have sat around not drawing myself watching over colleagues or the like. For example not long ago I joined a room that Rattle was occupying to get her furthered opinion to a change that was made to a layout mockup (her trillian can go spaz when she's on the radio apparently). When my business concluded and I stuck around for a few minutes one of the fellow members mentioned that another user really wanted to get in the full room. So I informed that user to tell the hopeful user that a spot will be available soon (as I chose to leave for her) and to tell her when she should join (upon my disconnect). There is no solid guarantee that, that user will be the one to get the spot - but you do your part at least. It's best to conduct on a need basis. But no it isn't in my opinion wrong as long as the use isn't abused. The point of paint chatting is to share, draw, investigate and collaborate. Learning from each other is what it is there for amongst other things. |

ya your right and i do leave when someone say they want to draw in the room(or if thor wants in) it's not rong... i enjoy being watched infact i suport learning skills like that caus its pritty mutch how i lerned too... I sit there and watch people draw all the time. <3 if you dont wanna be watched - dont use sketcher - simple as that 0_0 I am crap at drawing.
So I lurk in sketcher and offer help on anatomy to artists.
For some reason I can't draw but I can help others draw better >_> I hate it D8 I think it's perfectly normal to lurk on Skethcer. I do all the time. xD It's helpful, bacuse I can't ink. Why are we resurrecting old topics?
