I have uploaded a picture FOUR DIFFERENT TIMES and it KEEPS GETTING DELETED.
It follows your guidelines, It isn't a scribble or a photo or a screenshot and it follows the freaking upload guidelines. I think the admins are deleting it now just to piss me off.
So can I ask why? I didn't touch your gallery. Usually it also helps if you post which picture. I didnt say you specifically did.
But i mean, people say they don't like sketchy lines and stuff and I draw sketchy, sorry, I can't draw full humongous super clean lines like all you people.
And maybe I like drawing simple and to the point, instead of amazing detailed worked on for 3 weeks kind of things.

It follows the guidelines. I haven't touched your gallery, but I can give you my feedback on why I think it might be getting removed.
It's not something I, personally, would remove. It fits the specs, loosely, but I think it still does.
I think it's getting removed because of a lack of presentation. It looks more like a study than the completed piece, to me.
I dunno, though. I wish I could help more ;.; C1oud Joined on: 20 May 2007 23:03 | Re: Okay | Botachi, I quite like that one. Pity it's being deleted. I tend to draw sketchy too. Just had one deleted myself, although probably that was for good reason - it was very rough. I guess I can't fault the overall aim, which if I understand it correctly, is to improve the whole quality of art on the site. I'm going to re-upload my picture, but not until I've at least tried to improve it. I wonder if you can 'improve' yours in some little way that would make it more acceptable. Maybe put a border/frame around it? Also, the rules say they take account of the description too, so maybe this is either the problem or a way to a solution - maybe we need to 'sell' it - say why we think our pictures deserves to be considered good art and not be too critical of our own efforts. Hope you manage to get yours accepted somehow. Although it is a little sketchy I think for me it has the most 'artistic' merit of all the drawings in your gallery. |
