I just thought that I would let everyone know rather than just tell the admins only.
I will be gone from Friday to Sunday. Possibly later depending on how long the power is out in my apartment and how much water is on the floor as well.
Reason for this is due to Hurricane Ike. It is nearly going to hit me directly, and there's an inlet to Galveston Bay right behind my apartment complex. Because of this, my area is in effect for a mandatory evacuation and is also a storm surge area. I'm supposed to be leaving tomorrow morning, and the hurricane is expected to hit Galveston at 1am Central time.
Like I said, I am unsure as to how long it will be until I can get back online. When I have the next A day at school (Periods 1 through 4.), I have a class that involves computers, so I will try and tell you how things are going then if I haven't already told you before hand.
Wish me luck and hope that there is little or no damage to my apartment when I get back home. <3!

The hurricane has been downgraded to a Cat 1 or 2, so the damage shouldn't be as bad, but I still have to go to my grandmothers. I don't know if it'll still be bad enough to cut off the power, but I'm guessing that it will. They're saying it'll hit land as a Cat 1, so I should be good. <3 3 million people without power now :I

She may not have electricity again for another week or two. The hurricane has really messed up Houston, Galveston and surrounding areas. Her cell phone is dead now the battery died giving me the update to give y'all. Don't worry too much she is alive and will be making it through.

I am well and feeling much better since the AC and everything came on at my grandmothers house. I am so glad to be back and you have no idea how hard everything was. I got bitten by mosquitoes over 70 times, so yeah.
