I decided it was time for ArtGrounds to have its own Wikipedia article.

This took about an hour of work. If you're a good writer, versed in Wiki formatting, feel free to add sections. And slowly but surely...Artgrounds will take over the intranet. Then over Africa. Then Europe. Then stop for tea. AND NEXT: THE WHOLE WORLD 8D! Okay, the Wikipedia editors don't seem too eager to keep my articles. They want me to assert the importance of ArtGrounds and Sketcher. I need to defend the importance of the site in order to keep the article basically. Added a section noting the uniqueness of the Sketcher rooms. Hoping that qualifies for the site to stay. Wiki! I hope they don't take it down O.o Usefull info there. Wiki versus ED...
*cough* They deleted the page. "No credible assertion of notability". It seems that ArtGrounds is too insignificant. Now if only Encyclopedia Dramatica had that in their rules. darn Lupa Joined on: 8 Apr 2006 03:51 | Re: Wikipedia | | | Posted on 11 Dec 2006 18:38 | Quote |

what if the members started emailing complaints? XD The problem is that DA and SA are much bigger sites that everybody and their mom knows about. ArtGrounds not so. We need more publicity. stratagem Joined on: 26 Aug 2005 04:52 | Re: Wikipedia | Hm.the problem is if AG gets more publicity a lot more people will join, overcrowding sketcher, making everyone less likely to enjoy the experiance, then making AG less popular :P it's a vicious cycle! | Uh-oh. |

...Out of curiousity, what exactly is Encyclopedia Dramatica? I've heard about it a few times, but the references were never good. It's a wikipedia type of place, only a very insultive one, and has false info. Well, some is true, though.
A very good place to get a laugh from if you have a sense of humor. The artgrounds article there is downright hilarious.
