After an intensive coding session, we are proud to announce that our Tutorial section is open for business. Tutorials can be uploaded by anyone about any art or site related subject.
All you have to do is to make a folder. Write your tutorial as a HTML document, and put it in the folder together with any images you need. Make a ZIP archive (Compressed folder) of it, conveniently upload your whole tutorial as one file, and get it instantly published.
Hope this feature sees much use!
Cheers,
Thor UPDATE: I have now made a filter that allows you to upload HTML files with xxx_files folders, like those MS Word or Firefox saves. The system should now be very uncritical about how you organize your ZIP file. If you don't know HTML and need a simple editor, I recommend Nvu. Please make sure that you check "URL is relative to page location" when inserting images. This option is grayed out until you save your document somewhere (i.e. together with your images), so it's best to do that first. Remember to check "Don't use alternate text" to avoid annoying dialog box. Or you could just type in a description, like you're technically supposed to do. xD Bump!
