Ya know a reeealy good thing if it were possible would be making the program pressure sensitive and the erasers work on the wacom tablets. That would be the most awesome thing ever. ^^ Ether way, sketcher is great. *applauds* |

Now what I want to know is will we need to still download pressure-sensitivity programs, or will this new Sketcher already be compatable with tablets that already have pressure sensitive software? stratagem Joined on: 26 Aug 2005 04:52 | Re: Sketcher2 | | It probably still uses jtablet. it would have the same effect anyways... | Uh-oh. |

It probably still uses jtablet. it would have the same effect anyways... Please don't make the mistake of blaming Sketcher for this. Instead, point the finger at Sun Microsystems. Look at this chart:

Whenever Sketcher needs to talk to the outside world, it has to speak to Java. Java has no interface for tablets. Fortunately, you can create your own Java Native Interface. This is what my friend Marcello did. Unfortunately, you can't create it from inside the sandbox, since it would be risky for Java to allow this (viruses and trojans could use it). This is why you need to install JTablet manually. Dile Joined on: 15 Mar 2006 23:25 | Re: Sketcher2 | So when is this version of sketcher sets to active ? Looks really tight Thor! ~Dile | ~Dile |
