I've had a lot on my mind lately, some good things happening, some things that arent good.. Wont go into it here but its all kinda caused me to be sittin in an interesting artist rut.. So I worked on this in hopes to kinda break free from that artist rut and hopefully get some progress done on other projects!
I'm going to guess about 8-10 hours of work over 2 days, with a bit of trial n error, did some work that just got erased away a couple times ;P
Hopefully it doesnt show up too dark on anyones screens, I drew it on a flat pannel LCD screen, and just now got it on my usual monitor that I draw on (big difference) it's quite a lot darker on this screen! lmao.. its easily enough fixed to lighten it if anyone thinks it looks dark (The background tone is supposed to be a mid-tone greyish brown) I figured Ill keep it for the moment since most people are probably on flat pannel monitors these days ;P

To answer the question asked on why I named the image 'Hypnotized' .. The title is actually from the Oakenfold song Hypnotized.. It was one of the tracks on my playlist I was listening to when I drew this, and when I tend to get stumped on titles Ill name em after a song I was listening to while drawing.. I also found it fitting since a couple times I found myself just stairing off into a daze thinking at the cats eyes while I was workin on this..Posted by Kaytana on 31 Jan 2007 08:01
